To make this rum a blend of agricole and molasses spirits are used as the base that is then matured in ex-Cognac casks. The nose leads with tropical notes of dried mango, rum soaked cake, orange peels and baking spices. The palate is light, soft and seamless with fruit and flavors of fruit and caramel upfront and tea and spices on the finish. An excellent value for a Mauritius rum.
